Saturday Sept. 9th, TJC Choir will be hosting a Middle School All-Region Clinic in order to assist students in preparation for the All-Region Choir auditions in late October. Each student will have been assigned a voice part by Mrs. Boren, and will be working with highly respected and talented section leaders to learn as much of the music as possible. There will be an open concert at the end of the camp to show the progress the students have made. The time for this will be announced closer to the date. It is free admission and will be held in the Rogers Palmer Performing Arts Center on the TJC Campus.
Students will leave campus and be bused to and from TJC by Whitehouse Buses. There is a lunch break before the concert, so all students attending will need to bring money (about $15) for lunch, or provide a sack lunch. Lunch will be at a fast food location close to TJC (most likely off of Troup Highway). Students may be checked out after the concert by parents, or be picked up back at WJHS.
If you are interested in Chaperoning please contact Mrs. Boren ([email protected]) and fill out the WISD Volunteer form (found on the WJHS website under Campus Resources-Volunteer at WISD)
